Dr Maseko is a distinguished academic. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from the University of Limpopo. He furthered his education with a Diploma in Ophthalmology from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa and achieved a Fellowship from the College of Ophthalmologists of South Africa (FC Ophthalmology). Additionally, he earned a Master of Medicine (MMed) in Ophthalmology from the University of Pretoria.
